Single matters
Not every business needs a lawyer on retainer. Sometimes you have a contract to sign, a company to incorporate, a lease to review, or a specific legal question that needs a clear answer. Our single matter legal services give you access to experienced legal counsel on an as-needed basis.
You can expect a response within one business day.
Send us a few details through our contact form about what you need help with, along with any relevant documents, context, or deadlines.
Once we understand what you need, we’ll identify the work involved, flag anything else you should know about, and define exactly what our engagement will cover.
We’ll send you a clear scope of work and a fixed-fee quote before we begin.
Browse our services below, or just tell us what’s going on and we’ll point you to the right one.
Tell us what’s going on, and we’ll help you understand what kind of support makes the most sense, whether that’s a single matter or a fractional GC on retainer.
Get in touchA single matter is a defined piece of legal work that can be handled on its own, such as reviewing a contract, incorporating a company, preparing a shareholder agreement, reviewing a commercial lease, or advising on a specific legal issue.
If you have one specific task or issue in front of you, a single-matter engagement is usually the right fit. If legal questions are coming up regularly across your business, fractional GC support may make more sense. If you’re not sure, we’ll help you figure that out during the first conversation.
No. Just tell us what’s happening. You don’t need to diagnose the legal issue yourself or know which service category it falls under. We’ll help identify what you need and explain the next steps.
Once we understand the scope of the work, we’ll provide a fixed-fee quote before we begin. You’ll know what is included and what it will cost up front.
If something comes up that materially changes the work required, we’ll let you know before doing anything outside the agreed scope and discuss any additional fees with you first.
We aim to respond to new inquiries within one business day. If your matter has a deadline, let us know when you get in touch so we can take that into account.
Yes. The first conversation is complimentary and gives us a chance to understand what you need, answer initial questions, and determine the best way to help.
